Why I recommend you practice "quitting."
Lately, it seems there’s an overwhelming amount of bad news.
No matter what newspaper you read, or what T.V. channel you watch it’s just bad news piled on top of more bad news.
That’s why I recommend you quit. Quit reading articles from "gloom and doom" journalists.
Quit paying attention to depressing newscasts from talking heads.
Quit listening to all the wanna-be experts trying to scare you into submission.
Just unplug and know this. The stock market is going to go up and down. The economy will always be fluctuating. You can’t control any of it.
But you CAN control your mindset and your actions. Remember, even in the worst recession there are still plenty of people making money.
And I believe it’s actually easier to find motivated note-holders in a recession. There’s always a silver lining. But you won’t hear that on the news or read that in the papers.
So stop paying attention to all the "Negative Nancies" and "Debbie Downers." Instead, remember that your destiny is in your hands. Focus on what you want, not what you fear. Do that and you’ll be amazed at how quickly your situation will improve.
